i recently had the opportunity to spend a few days in san francisco & i surprisingly fell in love with the city. i wasn't expecting to love the city that i had for so long pictured as a drab & dreary city definitely not comparable to the bright lights of los angeles. i have to admit that i was completely misguided & although the weather might be inclement the city of san francisco is a gorgeous, vibrant place that is teeming with great restaurants, cultural landmarks, interesting architecture, & of course beautiful views of the famous bay.
oh, the salted caramel ice cream at bi-rite creamery ! i could go on for days about the salted caramel ice cream. the perfect combination of salty & sweet mingling on your tongue. it was to say the least, an epiphany for my taste buds.
i cannot wait to go back & explore the places that i didn't have to time for on this trip. on the top of my list are the golden gate park, the academy of sciences, & the ferry building.

bi-rite creamery. where the famous salted caramel ice cream resides.
vintage winston churchill books at the green acres bookstore.
ike's place. the meatball sandwich with jalapeno poppers & mozzarella sticks was AMAZING.
