DIY coffee table

i love the simplicity of this coffee table & it seems fairly easy to DIY !
you can buy new hairpin legs here or find used ones on craigslist or ebay. i'm guessing that the whole project would set you back less than $100 which is a steal for a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture !!

    wait so how do you make this?? do you just buy the legs + the table top from ikea or something? my friend is going to help me decorate my apt this summer--we're going to do a lot of diy projects & this would be perfect to add to the list!

    you can buy the legs on craigslist/ebay & buy a piece of wood from home depot/lowes or any hardware store. the wood doesn't necessarily have to be new, you can use an old door, scrap wood, etc which you can probably find for free on craigslist.
